Help & Support

Answers to the questions we hear most. Can’t find yours? Email us—a real person reads every message.

Getting Verve

How do I join the beta?

Enter your email on the homepage. Apple emails you a TestFlight invitation; install the free TestFlight app on your iPhone or iPad, tap View in TestFlight in the email, then Install. More about the beta.

Which devices does Verve work on?

iPhone and iPad with iOS 18.6 or later. Verve for Mac and Android aren’t available yet; join their waitlists to hear first.

I never got the TestFlight email.

Check your spam folder for a message from TestFlight. If you signed up with an email that isn’t on your iPhone, open the invite on any device and follow its steps, or sign up again with the right one. Still nothing after a day? Email us.

Do I need an account?

No. As a guest, everything you make stays on your device. Inviting friends, joining groups and sharing trips need an account, and when you sign up, everything you made as a guest moves to it.

Planning With Friends

How do I invite people to a trip?

Open the trip’s Participants and tap + to pick friends, or share the trip’s invite link from Share Trip. People join once they accept. Someone who isn’t on Verve (say, Grandma) can be added as a guest of the trip.

How do we find dates that work?

Everyone fills in My Availability (in Social) once and shares it with the trip or group. Then open Best Dates on the trip or group: Verve ranks the windows that get the most people there. Pick the length and how far ahead to look, nudge anyone who hasn’t shared, and lock in the winner.

Who can see my trips?

People on the trip see all of it. You choose who else does in the trip’s “Sharing with” card: all friends, close friends, friends you pick, or your groups. Groups see the trip at every stage; friends see it only once it’s booked, and only the details you allow.

How do I put a trip in my calendar?

In the trip’s itinerary, open the menu and turn on Sync to Calendar. Your trips appear in a “Verve Trips” calendar in Apple Calendar.

Verve Pro

What’s free and what’s Pro?

See Verve Pro for every limit. Joining friends’ trips and groups, voting, ticking off tasks and settling up are always free.

How do I upgrade, restore or cancel?

Tap your profile picture, then Settings ▸ Subscription & Usage. On the Verve Pro screen, Restore Purchases brings back a subscription on a new device. To cancel, open the Settings app ▸ your name ▸ Subscriptions; cancel at least 24 hours before it renews.

Can I get a refund?

Apple handles every App Store payment, so refunds go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Your Data

Where are my passport and ID details?

Only on your device. Documents are scanned on your phone and stored there, protected by iOS Data Protection—they’re never uploaded.

How do I turn off analytics or place-guide sharing?

In Settings, Analytics Data turns off usage analytics, and Privacy Settings ▸ Improve Place Guides stops your picks from counting toward Verve’s anonymous place guides.

How do I delete my data?

As a guest, Settings ▸ Erase Guest Data removes everything from your device. To delete an account and everything in it, email us from the address you signed up with. See our Privacy Policy and how we protect your data.
